I have signed up to walk the Times Colonist 10K at the end of April and I am actually taking a training clinic, walking with a group of Saturday mornings. Yes, I have to learn how to walk all over again - so far, I can only keep up with the older lady who needs a hip replacement. We all know exercise is good for us (and no, apparently wine tasting is not considered physical activity)...but I came across this great youtube video that really spells out the benefits of walking for 30 minutes a day. Time for me to put down the remote - check it out:
